Kim has a keen eye for moments, heralding her background in photojournalism to give her the necessary skills to catch them when they happen. She’s laid back and easy to be around, a no fuss shooter with a positive and upbeat energy ready to accompany you on your day. A native Texan, Kim went to the University of Texas in Austin where she studied photojournalism. Her years shooting for multiple Texas publications gave Kim a solid foundation for photojournalism and the love to tell stories.
"WHAT’S BEST ABOUT A WEDDING IS THE IMPORTANCE AND WEIGHT THAT THE IMAGES HAVE TO YOU PERSONALLY. AS A COUPLE, YOU WILL KEEP THESE FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIVES TOGETHER AND THEY LIVE ON TO BE THE MEMENTO OF YOUR BIG DAY. I’M SO EXCITED AND HONORED TO BE CHOSEN TO DOCUMENT AND PRESERVE ALL THE STORIES THAT HAPPEN THROUGHOUT THE CELEBRATION!"
Kim has been with the studio for four years now, with even more years of weddings under her belt. Her portfolio shows attention to detail and captures every look and expression of love.
Kim lives in Brooklyn, where she obsesses over coffee, her latest book or sci-fi TV show/movie. If she's not out and about shooting, she can be found cooking up a storm with her boyfriend (who's a chef) and running around with her dog Rema.
