There are some weddings that come along where no weather or hiccups can stop their fun and energy; Amy & Neil are one of those couples! Amy called us the a few days before the wedding anticipating the tropical storm predicted for their date. She already had a plan- rain boots for her ladies and bright blue umbrellas to mirror their dresses. The Liberty House in New Jersey was the perfect setting, offering a nice view of Manhattan in the background.
Both the bride and the groom got ready at the Hyatt Regency just down the street before seeing each other for the first time. Amy walked down the stairs in the lobby to see Neil for the first time, wearing an Augusta Jones dress that she looked stunning in. After the first look, the bridal party hopped into a limo and headed to the Liberty House for fun portraits outside in the rain (with umbrellas and boots of course!) Everyone braved the weather laughing and smiling- the photos show their energy and happiness. The ceremony, officiated by Reverend Jimmy Smith, was held indoors. After the ceremony the festivities continued at the Liberty House on into the night. Amy and Neil’s friends and family danced the night away to music performed by Arcadia from L.I. Paramount Music & Entertainment. GT Modern Creations captured video of the entire night and Laura Clare provided the lovely floral arrangements. Amy and Neil had a truly spectacular wedding and we are very happy to share these images from their special day with you!
