Craig arrived home from Australia yesterday and we are so excited to have him back in the studio. It’s a bit of an adjustment for all but he’s excited to get back to work and we are happy to be able to just turn around any time we need to ask him a question. That’s not to say he wasn’t working hard in Australia, in fact he photographed a beautiful little wedding a couple of weeks ago right in Sydney Harbor.
April and Chris were married on short notice in the harbor-side suburb of Kirribilli with a grand total of 8 close friends and family members in attendance. Craig met April before the ceremony at the Establishment Hotel, a small boutique hotel where the super talented Amy Chan styled April’s hair and make-up.
Even though the ceremony was brief, the weather went from sunny to cloudy with a beautiful rainbow, to rainy, back to sunny. Sounds to me like a perfect representation of the ups and downs of marriage. Not everyone they wanted could be there but thanks to skpye and an iPhone, April’s Mom was able to participate in the ceremony all the way from Scranton, PA. After a few portraits by the water, April and Chris and their wedding party went in to Sydney for dinner. What a beautiful way to get married!
