This one is especially important to Craig, Darcy and Ross being very good friends of his. Their sons all go to school together as well, so it was a huge family oriented event which made it fun and energetic. They hosted the entire day at their house upstate, with a spectacular view of the mountains as the backdrop to their outdoor ceremony. All the details were natural and beautiful, from berry twigs and branches used for the chuppa, to wildflower arrangements, natural wood settings and of course the property itself which Darcy and Ross both had their hands on the design and building in all aspects! Darcy wore a deep green Alexander McQueen dress with a gold accent belt. They hand wrote their vows on pieces of wood that would later be framed for them to enjoy. After the ceremony, guests and kids headed down to the fire pit and tables set up near the pond for drinks and appetizers before heading under the tent for the rest of the evening. Dinner, dancing and toasts kept everyone smiling and laughing, even their dog was in the center of everything throughout the night. The Farmer’s Wife catered the entire evening, Jim Krewson DJ’d the night and Darcy’s friend Tamar arranged the beautiful flowers. Craig was honored to capture such a special evening with everyone Darcy & Ross love.
