Margaret and Kevin had one of those classic New York City weddings in July full of traditions and family heirlooms. We joined the couple at the New York Athletic Club while they got ready and put all the finishing touches on. Margaret’s beautiful dress was actually her mother’s from Pricilla of Boston, which was worn by both Margaret’s sisters before her. Her gorgeous veil had also been in her family for generations before from the 18th century! Kevin was wearing some unique cufflinks as well with his sharp tux. The couple’s ceremony happened at the All Souls Church officiated by Reverend David Robb. The bride and groom then continued the night with their guests back at the New York Athletic Club, where they laughed, danced and shared a great time. Margaret’s family has another tradition in the family for a special cake made for every wedding called a Baumkuchen, which they cut and shared along with the gorgeous wedding cake. Flowers were arranged by Dana Worlock and music by The A Band.
