Marriage is not just the union of two people, but the union of their friends and families and all the people that support them in their lives. Having been to a lot of weddings we see many families trying to coexist on a day that can be stressful and chaotic. But I have to say, I don’t think I’ve seen two families that have handled it better than Becca’s and Ian’s. From the beginning, both sets of parents were heavily involved in the planning process which Becca and Ian seemed to welcome wholeheartedly. And when I got to the Pearl River Hilton on the day, it was as though they had all been best of friends for many years. To say they got along well was an understatement.
I should also mention the beautiful work of Hatch Creative Studio on the flowers and other decor. What wasn’t done by Hatch was made by Becca herself, including those gorgeous place cards. Great work, ladies. You did a spectacular job.
UPDATE: Becca has informed me that she also designed the invites, programs, table numbers and menu! In fact, she’s just launched her own invitation and design company called Suite Paperie. She does design for both businesses and social occasions so definitely go check out her work at suitepaperie.com if you are in the market for invitations or even a new logo. Congratulations , Becca!
