My favorite moment of this wedding was when Aisha and Danielle had their “first look”. Though they had shopped for their dresses together, they had spent the entire morning in adjacent rooms getting ready, engaged in a delicately choreographed dance involving their closest friends and family, all in an effort to not see each other before it was time. So when the time came and Danielle walked down those stairs to where Aisha was waiting, everyone erupted with emotion.
Aisha and Danielle’s wedding was everything a wedding should be: full of love, laughter, romance and beautiful personal details. These ladies have impeccable style, as we saw during their engagement shoot earlier in the summer, and their day was elegant and chic in an old-hollywood kind of way. Truly, this was a photographer’s dream wedding: two beautiful women, those stunning dresses, lots of flowers and feathers, a gorgeous location and a great crowd of people who were there to have a good time and to celebrate Aisha and Danielle’s love.
We have been so excited all summer about this wedding and we are thrilled to finally be able to share it.
